I always thought it was a design flaw that when you go to the downloads section, the default view is "most downloaded". To me, it seems that because this view is the first people see, and these people may not have any other basis for file selection, they would start by downloading the most popular items. The resulting effect is that the most popular keep getting more popular. As it is right now, web spiders have this level of intelligence, so a few songs are getting all the downloads and keeping the others from moving up in the ranks.
To resolve this, I changed the code so that the most recent files are displayed first by default. This is also in line with the former website's behavior of starting in the Latest and Greatest section of the archives.
