Dynamo was recorded in the TLC era and has the same equipment as listed in other albums from that era. This album was named for the unusual level dynamics. In the TLC era, recordings were done with a single microphone placed somewhere between the keyboard amp (TOA KD2) and the drumset and recorded to a Tascam 4-track. Oddly, the thought didn't occur to us to do true multitrack recording even though we had the capability.
The performances are fair. Getting some of the new era songs played (Dish, Travesty, Limb), some older ones, a jam thrown in, and even some work on a remake. Overall, a good sample album with a decent mix of songs and fair recording quality.
